Two hundred less fortunate children became beneficiaries of Mabuhay Vinyl Corporation’s (MVC’s) Pamaskong Handog sa mga Bata, in addition to the usual beneficiaries, that is, children of Purok 13 and Purok Tonggo of Barangay Buru-un.

Iligan City Police Station (ICPS) 2 of Sitio Nonucan, Maria Cristina, Iligan City solicited MVC’s assistance in the conduct of their own “Pamaskong Handog 2016.” Cash assistance was extended by MVC. As such, children from the seven (7) barangays under the area of responsibility of ICPS 2 received gift items last December 16 during their activity. Said activity was spearheaded by Station Advisory Council (SAC) of the station.

On its Certificate of Recognition to MVC, PINSP Dexter S. Ceniza, Acting Station Commander and SAC Chair, and City Councilor Jesse Ray N. Balanay said, “Your effort, time, and resources are the factors we consider for conducting the Pamaskong Handog 2016 successfully. Thus, we would like to extend our warmest thanks to your company/organization for being part of the celebration. May the Lord bless your company/organization a hundredfold for your generosity.” Said certificate was personally handed by ICPS 2 Staff to MVC last January 5, 2017.

Moreover, 100 children of Purok 13, together with purok leaders and parent chaperons came to MVC Plant last December 18 for the 2016 Pamaskong Handog sa mga Bata. A short program, games, and gift-giving were done, hosted by staff of Jollibee. On the other hand, 50 children of Purok Tonggo conducted same activity last December 20 at their premises, facilitated by their purok leaders.
