Through the years, Mabuhay Vinyl Corporation (MVC) has continually given importance to its corporate social responsibility. In line with exercising its corporate values, this year, MVC has once again given its service to the residents of Bauan, Batangas.
Spearheaded by the Welfare Committee of the Council of Solidarity (COS), with the help of the Human Resource Department, Brigada Eskwela 2018 took place in San Miguel Day Care Center last June 22. A total of 18 volunteers from MVC lead by Mr. Romeo G. Dela Cruz, Vice President for Marketing, participated in the said event.
The program included several games and the distribution of school supplies. Nineteen students from San Miguel Day Care Center received school bags, a tumbler, mini whiteboard with marker, pencil case, crayons, socks, towels and a kiddie umbrella.
With this activity, MVC hopes to lessen the burden of the parents who strive to give their children a better education. Not just to support the project of the Department of Education, MVC also firmly believes that this event will encourage students to perform better at schools by instilling the importance of education in their young minds.
