Mabuhay Vinyl Corporation (MVC) was once again one of Philippine Red Cross’s (PRC) “Most Number of Mobile Blood Donation (MBD) Organized” awardees for mid-year 2018 until mid-year 2019. This recognition was received during the 2019 Blood Donors Month Awarding Ceremony held last August 6 at Go Hotels – Robinsons Place Iligan. The purpose of the event was to acknowledge selfless individuals and unpaid volunteers who donated their precious blood and to honor groups of people who never ceased to support PRC in promoting their advocacy for 100% voluntary blood donation. The slogan for this year’s campaign is “Safe Blood for All”, and the theme for Blood Donor Day is “Blood donation and universal access to safe blood transfusion”.
MVC organizes mobile blood donation four (4) times a year and encourages more and more individuals to be selfless through volunteering. MVC believes that a company who supports and teaches its personnel to take care of others will in turn take good care of the company.
