MVC shows appreciation to truckers through grocery distribution

With the growing number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines during the early onset of the pandemic last March 2020, the government implemented an Enhanced Community Quarantine over Metro Manila with imposed guidelines in neighboring provinces to mitigate spread of the deadly virus.

Despite such risks, Mabuhay Vinyl Corporation (MVC) continued its operations to provide products that are essential to different industries. Although majority of the employees rendered their services to the company through a work-from-home set-up, it is inevitable for some employees for their physical presence to be required for the business to continue.

Accordingly, MVC’s management did not fail to acknowledge that the work dedication and remarkable efforts of their frontliners have been significant in sustaining its business operations during this crisis. Such appreciation was realized in different forms throughout the year. On April of 2020, grocery packages were distributed to all third-party logistics providers of Mabuhay Premium Bleach Plant in Laguna and of Batangas Depot. This donation drive served as gratitude for rendering their services to the company despite the increased risk of exposure from the virus. Framed certificates as well as tokens of appreciation were given to dedicated employees of Makati Head Office, operations and distributions personnel.

Today, the country continues to fight through the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Alongside, MVC has risen to prove its resilience to sustain business despite any crisis. All of that is made possible through the support of its management, solidity of its established system, and the dedication of all of its employees.
